    My Disco has been put in rivers and rather large bog holes since i put the Mini cooper Coil cap on the top i have had no issues at all. You will note the small battery it is a 65A/H Topin. this gives me about 1-2 days on an Engel 40L.

    That would have been an easier option but I all ready have a deap cycle battery that's 285mm long.

    When you say a mini cooper cap do you mean the rubber boot that goes over the top wiring of the coil. Is so it already has one fitted.

    I didnt have a boot on it to start. i decided to get somthing on it ad that is what a mate came up with.
