    Question Roof rack for a Disco 1

    Hi folks.
    Anyone know if a roof rack advertised for a S2 Disco will fit my 1994 Disco TDi?

    There are a few 'if''s to contend with:

    Side rails are the same width, and the general contour is the same,
    but the overall length is different and then there are differences in the roof bars ( On the D2 and yours if you have then)

    Such is the problem with buying stuff unseen, or in this case un-tried.

    So am I to assume then if I don't have roof bars on my Disco 1 (which I don't ) then a rack from a Disco 2 will definitely fit on my vehicle?

    I was under the impression that a D2 was wider than a D1...so therefore roof rack will not fit????

    One check up on first???

    I've been looking at crossbars for my D2 today. The Discovery is only listed with or without rails so I would assume from that they use the same racks for D1 and 2.
