I find the armrests in mr RRC brilliant and I only ever fold them up enough for access to the seatbelt catch. The other bonus with them is if they are down it helps stop people leaning on the (weak) centre console.

    Hey Jon
Are the seats the same size in the arse area. I remember reading somewhere tha the RRC seats are shorter so us, with long legs, don't have quite as musch thigh support as on the Disco seats?
I prefer the look of the RRC seats, the arm rests would certainly be handy and the matching rear seat has the armrest.....all plus factors if I can get an affordable set.
    Cheers

BTW, POD, where are the pictures?

G'day Jason. I couldn't say offhand if the squab is the same length or not. I should get a chance this afternoon to get out the tape measure and get some measurements. PS, how is the rain and wet?

    Jon

Rain was phenomonal. Todd came up to the footbridge near the causeway very quickly.
Did a bit of playing in the mud, and also a bit of bailing out of water pooling dangerously close to the shed door, but it doesn't happen too often, as you know.

Bright, sunny and a touch humid today, can't wait for more rain though.

BTW, the squab on the disco (measured at its longest point, that is in dead centre) is 500mm from backrest to seat edge piping. Will be interested to see your measurements.

A cold one awaits when you are next in town

    Jason,

I have seat covers, so it is hard to be precise. My measurement came in at 500mm as well. It seems the seat bases must be very similar. I just need to do something with the back on mine, it has no lumbar support anymore. Not really surprising, it is 22 years old and has done 300 000km or more.

With regards to beer, I should be passing through in late April or thereabouts.

Beers are on in April then

My lumbar support is gone as well. A large elastic band with two wire hooks is all it is (the knob on the side of the seat tensions up the belt) The weak point is that the metal 'hook' breaks off. Will be scrounging through TRS next time I'm in Adelaide

    Cheers
    Jason

I don't think my seats have adjustable lumbar support, I suspect they are just internally collapsed.
