    Mesh screen in front of the radiator to stop this sort of thing happening. Should be standard equipment on all vehicles used offroad in Australia (and probably most other places), but isn't fitted to many of them. Not sure whether they are a factory option on Disco's, but they were from the 80" Landrover on. I have them on both mine - neither factory ones, both home made using insect screening.

    Should be well in front of the core - for example in the 110 just behind the grille, backed by 20mm square mesh. Make sure that there is no way stuff can get past the screen, by blocking up other routes, and clean it regularly - its a lot easier than pulling the radiator out to clean!

    Nah, looks like its been on lawn mowing duty...

    Fine-mesh bug and grass guard good.

    Compressed air blow job good too, keep an ARB compressor handy.

    I cleaned it out by water and spray can degreaser. degreaser mets the bugs quite well

    I also took off the intercooler and gave that a wash out as well.
    Man i had some oil in there!!!
    Dont think it had been cleaned out in a long long time. any way put it all bact togerther and is working like a treat


    Now thats sorted i think its time for that injector pump tweak
