    I recon mine was worse after the ECU upgrade,done by BD.

    Mine definitely is worse around 2200 to 2500 RPM,similar to yours.I find i can sort of drive through it.

    Drove the son's puma the other day & i couldn't believe how smooth the engine is compared to the TD5.

    Mine has also got a BD chip fitted before I bought the vehicle. Strange..

    All I know Is that my mounts are sagged my flexi joint and exhaust skins have seperated and my handbrake drum is rattling its going to be a noisy drive up to Brisbane at crissy!

    I did and it hasn't always been like this. I do not have the DB chip. I put on the original ECU code and drove around for a while and there was no difference.

    Sitting at 100 on the freeway is just in that range so really annoying. I can't drive through it without risking a fine.

    Brand new land rover stamped engine mounts and the GB mounts are OK. Am going to refit my handbrake drum over the weekend but as it vibrates while stationary, I should be looking further forward.

    Hi sorry to hi jack you thread catch 22 but with my flexi joint I was wondering do I replace with land rover was quoted around 650 fitted or start looking at whole exhaust options?it's sooo loud and at the exact revs as yours I push through it when going past people to save embarrassment!

    Any muffler shop should be able to replace the flex joint, they are expensive, even from a muffler shop, mainly because they are stainless steel, the whole exhaust system is stainless by the way, just in case you were not aware.

    Will cost you no more than $200 from the right exhaust shop. Had some numpty want to charge $650. If in Sydney I can PM you details...

    Thanks red back.yeh that'd be unreal catch 22 I'm on the northern beaches keen on that number might even see if they can push it through before crissy maybe nothing a sneaky carton won't fix
