    hi folks just picked up a 2002 disco td5 today, and was directed to the forum by a friend Sitec, looking forward to have some fun just have to get used to the auto box. a bit unsure how this site works

    I renewed with YOUI today for $348 with $700 excess and nominated drivers both over 60 living Avoca Beach, garaged, market value.

    YOUI now has roadside assist included in cover with the same as NRMA standard ie 50KM towing, 2 free callouts for breakdown etc.
    Also now cover car keys loss.

    We have had 2 no fault claims with YOUI and they have been fantastic paying for a write off in 2 weeks with a very fair payout.

    Youi was the best individual quote last time I compared but we got a discount for having several policies with RACQ.

    Is this aimed At Racq directly, I read the policy closely and it seemed fair and reasonable, as insurance policies go. I am no lawyer, but have worked on the dark side previously.

    Im paying around $550 for GIO for a D2 v8

    Kids want their L's, so I called them up, and they said they dont cover anyone under 25 in a V8 regardless


    Does anybody have similiar situation, who insures for under 25's in a v8

    (The D2 is no sports car)

    I dont really want to have to buy another car for the kids to learn to drive, and then drive around etc because I carnt get insurance.
