    245/75r16 pics?

I have been trolling through the threads to find a pic of a lifted d2 with a 245/75r16's on it but no luck yet. If there is anyone out there with such an animal, can you please post a pic?

I have a v8 d2a that I just lifted but am still running stock 255/65's. I would like to go a bit bigger for my next tyres to fill the guards among other reasons but am reluctant to go to 265/75's to avoid the power loss associated with is it.

    Thanks in advance

Here is mine, D2 V8 with 2.5" lift and 245/75/R16 Maxxis Mudders.

As you can see there is still heaps of room in the guards, I wish I had of gone for the 265/75/R16 instead, also if you check out some other threads on the forum you should be able to get 285/75/R16 on without a guard cut and only the lift.

Here's mine when it was on 245/75r16 Bighorns...

This is it on the same size but in Mickey Thompson All Terrains

But if you really wanna fill the guards... i say go for some 285/75r16's

Hey shamo, haven't I seen those 285's of yours rubbing the guards in some videos?

    Thanks for the pics

Yep they didn't rub when they were on standard alloys but when i got the +30 offset steel rims they started to rub a little... only a bit on the inside of the rear guard (soon going to be fixed with a light bit of cutting, wont be able to see it much with the standard flares there) and a slight touch on the bullbar and on the inside of the rear of the front quarters.

It's all only very light rubbing though so i'm not too concerned at the moment... will probably put some 1 inch spacers on the coils to give it a bit more clearance

    Hi Shamo,

Just wondering how much lift youve got. How did it change the drive as far as following grooves in the road and if there was much of a difference in power loss from 246 75 to 285 75?
Ive got 4 inch lift and rear camel cut level with the bottom of the tail gate. Im going to run standard alloys. You mention they didnt rub at all on the stock rims. Was this true?

    Thanks.
    Michael.

2" Terraforma lift, no issues at all. The car had those tyres on it before I even put the lift in and there was no issues then either.
