2000 Td5 Auto, Limestone, 189 800 kms
Bought from brother in law with 183 000 kms on it. He was the 3rd owner.
Not many extras on it, has ECB bullbar. About to replace all the hoses in it as it has a light coolant leak on bottom radiator hose, will replace thermostat as well. Also has a minor oil leak around sump area which I will tackle when doing hoses!
Haven't had the vehicle for long but plan in the near future to add a few things:
-ECU upgrade
-IPL spotties
-Side steps for wife when putting kids in car. (sick of the complaining). Planning on fabricating these myself. Will upload progress photos when start.
-GME UHF
-Snorkel
-Cargo barrier
-Have an Odysey battery spare, plan on putting this in as a duel setup

Hey Andy,
Not sure of the exact colour so tried looking up the colour of it on a colour chart on google as I'm too lazy to get off my arse and go outside to see if it is on the vehicles compliance plate.
To describe it better it is the metallic silver with a hint of brown in it... not that rare of seen millions of them getting around in this colour.
Ok I'll go outside in the cold and have a proper look.
Regards.![]()
Couldn't find it here

G'day Stuuu,
2001 td5 auto, bought with 151,000 kms on the clock after 2 previous owners and currently has about 175,000kms after dragging a 21' full size caravan around oz. (about 17000kms)
lots of extras/mods including
TRT ECU upgrade, (an absolute must!!!... originally had DPChip)
upgraded intercooler,
just changed the injector harness again
long range (163lt) fuel tanks
multimedia unit with 7" gps running iGo8 (just great!! after running TT for years) with reversing camera mounted at towball.
ARB bar with 6db antenna for icom ic-440 and 1.2m f/glass for blue-tick phone.
12000lb winch, IPL extremes, 235/16 Wranglers @60psi normally and inflated by ARB air pump mounted in rear left hand internal wallspace.
Dual batteries with additional main +ve supply bus fitted near rear bumper to minimise voltage drop for various auxillary devices. such as 110lt car fridge in the boot....... and numerous other items....
fair to say that I was very apprehensive (to say the least) about trying to tow a 20' van for a long distance with a 2.5lt diesel, but I'm happy to say that I have been really impressed with the disco on this trip.
Cheers... Dave
