    Door handle fix?

    Hey all, new user

    I have a 99 Disco 2 and the outside driver's door handle isn't working. Annoying but not a huge deal... I'm hoping an easy fix?

    I've taken the door trim off and I see that the the handle is still working properly, the bolt is still connected and still moves correctly when the handle is pulled.
    I guess the bolt is not working at the other end, but I can't see as its behind the window rails...

    Has anyone encountered the same thing and found and can give some advice on how to fix?

    Do a search on this site and purchse the Rave CD, it has everything you need , workshop manual and a lot more. Will guide you throuh most repairs.

    Thanks, got the CDrom, makes some of these jobs a lot easier!
    Handle now works fine with nothing more than a lot of WD40...

    Next to fix the 3 amigos!

    Hey Capacious,, have a GOOD read in the Good Oil,, if you dont have access to a nanocom (or LR dealer at a pinch) you can find out physically which corner/sensor is upsetting the amigoes.
