Thread: unsure bout revs/ratio/gearbox

hi all how are we,
ive got a 99 D2 TD5 ive had it for about 2 weeks. this is my first disco and just curious about the gearbox ratio's. first and second rev fairly high and change quick while as third to 5th take a little bit more time. also when in 5th n travelling around the 100km mark its sits on about 2000-2200 revs. is this all normal or should i get the gearbox checked out? like i said my first ever disco so just unsure.

What size tyres,if around 2200 rpm,it must be 32" tyre(265/75 16 or similar),for normal 29" tyres revs should be around 2450 - if i remember right..
