Put in my turbo & EGT gauges today. Had to obviously disconnect the oil feed etc. Put it all back together etc etc, cranked it over and checked gauge operation and low and behold, first time ever, I heard it spin down!!
I'm actually wondering if there was something that cleared in the lines by taking off the turbo feed....
At least now I know it's spins and it's a Mann+Hummel so they work too.
Speaking of Mann, as I'm doing a group buy for Provents, have also registered an interest for anyone wanting oil fuel and air filters from them too.
Please post on that thread, not this one if your interested.

My centrifuge filter has made the wind down noise from new. I have used genuine and non genuine filters and have had mixed results. As far as I'm concerned, if it does not make a noise winding down after shutdown, it is not spinning therefor not working. So noise on shut down is good.
Regards Robbo.
Mine stopped making a wind down noise about 20Kk ago, (130Kk on the clock) went and bought a different brand (not genuine) still no noise and now using genuine - no noise. On oil changes filter contains the used darker oil so I figure must be working, spins freely when replacing, no oil leaks, dont worry be happy!
