    Should there be a bolt in this?

    Okay I don't have a copy of RAVE, and obviously am unsure so could I ask for a bit of help? D2a 2002 update model - auto trans.

    The two photos show the underside of the bellhousing?


    Hoping that the brown crap is stuff flung off the front driveshaft near the cv.

    Is there supposed to be a bolt in the hole that I've cleaned to show you all?

    This was fun on the weekend - yep that's 2 of us bogged on Frenchman's Spur Road out past Cambarville.

    some have them some don't. Thats where the timing pin screws into. Its up to you if you want to put a bolt in it, make sure it is very short

    goto pirtek (or similar) and get a blanking plug for a hydraulic hose they're plastic and usually a throw away item.
