Fluids,only just seen this post.
I went through all this last year before a cape trip, mine are now not on the D2 ,so can't take any measurements.I could sit them on,but it's dark & raining.
I used the 210mm legs,no probs at all, ground the rear legs to clear the roof above the gutter.I used the standard brackets,as i thought the brackets you are gonna use may put a lot of weight at one end of the rail, particularly when travelling on corrugated roads.I don't have anything else on the roof though. The standard brackets sit on the bar, directly above the Rhino legs.My carport is also 2.5m high,so height was not a problem.
A couple of other things as well, the front bar was noisey,i moved to different places & it still "sang".I ended up covering it with aeroflex, that foam pipe insulation, used the 20mm wall stuff,no vibration at all.You can get it from Heatcraft or Actrol parts.
Also be very careful with the Foxwing in windy weather. We broke both brackets once as two of the guy ropes came off & the wind got under it& pulled off all the others.Make sure you ALWAYS use all the ropes on the poles at all times, and the largest pegs you can get.If it is going to be windy at night i always fold it up.
It survived our cape trip no worries, and worked well.
Goodluck,hope it works out well

... said to get LONG sand pegs for the beach. I am going to try green eco bags full of sand as a possible low wind alternative for the beach ... pegs are probably quicker.
