Bike Rack on D2
Just thought I would share this with people.
If anyone else out there carries bikes on their D2 and is a little verticaly challanged like myself I have found the solution.
I ruled out using the roof rack due to the height, I still wanted to use my rear door so the towbar mounted racks where out as well.
I settled on a Thule spare tyre mounted rack, admittedly it only holds 2 bikes but is suitable most of the time for me.

Nice, mine goes into the tow receiver and it prevents the rear door from opening when it's on. Not to flash, especially with a cargo barrier.
Cheers

Thule 964 Revolver 4 Bike Carrier
I have found another option for a tow hitch mounted bike rack on a Land Rover.
It will hold 4 bikes and can swing out allowing the rear door to open. It is not listed in the Australian Thule Catalogue, however the Thule store at Botany have it listed on their website.
