    Updated instruments, bigger intercooler in TD5, different tuning in the ECU, different tail light arrangement, off the top of my head...

    Improved brakes, different tail lights, CDL, 2nd row seats middle seatbelt mount is about 1cm thicker than D2, different headlights and grill... there used to be a site on the web that listed everything but it is long gone unfortunately.

    Having replaced one in both a D2 and D2a I can say the intercooler is as near as the same size if not the same.
