Ahhh, ok. I was using my iPhone and didn't see that you'd highlighted some text.
I believe the wobble was attributed to the ACE pivot (the actuator located under the drivers front wheel arch) not being secured to the chassis properly. That and running a spanner over all of the nuts and bolts under the car.
It's hard to say which did what but I suppose the combined effort has fixed the problem.
Today saw some more fine tuning of the Disco.
She now sports a suite of fully functioning dash lights/AC climate control lights and also has a set of rear parking sensors. Bip ---- Bip --- Biip--- Biiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeppppppfugginstop.
Nice Sully, but still, good luck with the reverse parallel park lol. Going by feel rather than beep is oh do much better
A quick one for you though, I did the whole tightening of the ace piston setup under front right guard, mine all tight. But what I did notice, tie rod ends!!!!
Mine are as slack as a lollipop technician. Make clunking noise too when I twist the shaft back & forward. Another job!!!! Lol
Haha! I don't have a problem parallel parking without the sensors, it more for the missus.
That's good that you found the slack tie rods. It's amazing what a bit of time underneath these things will uncover.
Keep it up mate!
As in greasable with the grease nipples? I was surprised to see this on mine too.
