ok i have a problem.
last week my d2 td5 snapped the clutch fork only 8 weeks after having a new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and bearing fitted. now after having the fork, and slave cyclinder replaced the workshop cant get reverse, but can get it in if they stop the engine and it will drive in it. all other gears are fine. anyones thoughts?
p.s i was not in reverse when the fork snapped.
HOW did the clutch fork break??? They are solid cast in The Td5, same as D1 RRC V8 etc. Not like the useless pressed metal number in the Tdi...
And yes, sometimes they need a bleed afterward.
