    rrc to d2 diff conv?

I have a '84 Classic 5spd ( R380) that has front and rear lockers fitted ( R unknown, F JackMac 24 spline) and was wondering if it is possible to swap them straight into a '99 TD5 D2 auto. If so how hard is it, limit tools and know how,and will the axles fit or am I up for more $$ ?
Thanking you in advance for all your help.
    Tony

AFAIK, D2s run the same diff centres, but different axles. So if you don't have MD or KAM lockers you can swap the lockers in but not the axles. However if the front is 10 spline then not unless you change side gears.
