Was only $70 inc freight and they are on their way to meet the shocks at eshock for the trip over.
Mr LR I'm keen to see your install. Cheers Matt

Knocked up these lower mounts for my 7100's outa some 75 x 50 x 4mm rhs.
Also had to make some shock tower spacers, had to lift them up 35mm to stop the shocks bottoming out on the standard height springs.
Hi All.
In the middle of the install and I have a challenge. I need to undo the hose to the res so that I can feed it through the new shock turrets as the res wont feed through. I just need to fit it through and do it up again.
BUT it is so tight and both the 7/16 and 11mm spanners are threatening to round the nut. I can't get the Flare nut spanner over the fitting. Very tough thread lock.
Can I try a little gentle heat from the gas soldering iron?
cheers
Matt
Nooooo, don't undo that! That's why it says "high pressure do not undo".
Use a linisher or grinder (or file if you're not as lazy as me) and grind a bit of a scallop out of the top of the shock tower. You should be able to work out which bit to remove.
The reservoir then slides through.
I have let out the gas and can refill with nitrogen. Does that reduce the pressure? I would have thought it would .
All this guy does is let the gas out then it is no longer under pressure [ame]http://youtu.be/IGCmAzSZz_k[/ame]
You can do it that way but really you want to scollop out the top of the mount a few mm so that the canister slides through.
Reason is that you may one day have to get it out again and not have a gas canister & oil etc with you.. also reassembling & charging it in situ would be a PITA.
No need to scallop, put the shock tower in your vise and give it a gentle squeeze, just enough to open up the top and then slides right through!

Fixed it. Apt stuff is tough.
But where are you all putting your Res? Struggling to find space and no time to get hoses extended to put them up In front of the windscreen.
