Otherwise you'll need to source a pin to eye adapter for the D1 too.
Note that you can get pin to eye mount adapters, which will also decrease the closed shock distance in std ride height config, so you'd also need raised turrets to compensate.

Closed length is approx 20" amd open is approx 33.5" which makes it a big 5.5" longer than the 10" RR 7100s closed.

The front lowers, have a look at the option of spinning onto the shaft the Bilstein small rubber bush and then pushing a barpin through it. You will need shims to keep it centralised, but it may be a more elegant solution that doesn't further increase your effective shock lengths (which already look extremely long).
The rear upper and lowers don't suit the Disco2. These parts are for the classics. D2 rear lower is already eye and the D2 upper is fixed, not bolted - that part looks like it lowers the top mount also rather than raises. I havent heard of these being fitted to a D2, so cant comment there.
Have you also looked at Watts linkages, Xmember, brake lines, ABS lines, bumpstops, front propshaft and obviously seriously big springs to suit.
Would need to lift the towers close to 150mm with those shocks
What's the max out point of travel for a D2 radius arm Slunnie?
A Deefer isn't much over maxing out at 10" before you need slotted bushes/Superior flex arms/3 link, etc so I'm guessing the D2 won't be a hell of a lot better?
Mate I think you're on the money there. I'm not sure with swaybars or disconnects, but with ACE I really don't think you're getting articulation that uses the full stroke on a 10" shock and I suspect disconnects wont offer much more than what ACE gives (The ACE ram maxs out with 10" shocks and the roll bar is really stiff). For articulation ACE or disconnects reduces the roll resistance but really the radius arms put a cap on things. 14" shocks will give you a mass of travel, but it still wont articulate more than what the radius arms allow. Unless you're looking to jump the disco (it doesn't have the chassis for that), then to get the best out of the suspension it really does need to have proper engineering redesigns done front and rear. You might notice the radius arms are longer at the front and shorter at the rear, this is offset by the weight balance of the vehicle also, with a better responce for an RTI number by the weight of the TD5.Quote:

A few do run 12" short bodies, but I don't ever recall thinking that any of them are articulating beyond the limits of the radius arms.
