im currently on 360kms out of half my tank of unleaded, the engine is only 660kms old from a full rebuild, the first tank only lasted me 300kms, so its fair to say im experiencing my best economy yet!

    TD5 chipped and unchipped

On my recent trip to Brisvegas and back to Perth i got 9.5 litres to 100km at 100kph. 10.5 at 110/120kph.
On the way back dropped into Triumph Rover spares in Adelaide and got the old girl chipped. WOW what a difference. Now same economy at 100 but at 110 kph same again only starts to chew a bit over 120kph.
I cant believe the difference in power passing roadtrains is now effortless.

Well my run to here in Kalbarri towing the series trailer loaded to about 850kg with full roof pod and a howling NE headwind all the way up saw 600km on a bit over 3/4 of a tank. Not too bad considering ad this is the usual stop start economy around town with nothing in it or behind bu I did expect better. Usually around town I get about 11.5 - 12.5/100.
With any luck the NE will continue for the trip home so should return better results.
Went up through Northampton and turned off into Kalbarri from the inland road but taking coast road back thru Port Gregory to Northampton and back down the Indian.

    Cheers

    Andrew
