I couldn't be bothered waiting any longer, so I purchased a Safari Snorkel from First Off Road ( First Four off Road ). I also got the optional stainless steel grill to suit and the Mantec wading kit. I don't intend on tackling too many water crossings, and especially not deep ones though after hearing about the horror stories of the auto ECU underneath the passenger side front seat being destroyed by water.

Im also looking at purchasing a snorkel from this site. How much was the postage from the UK and did it take long to arrive?

Hasn't arrived yet, actually hasn't been sent yet as still waiting on one of my guards to arrive so that they can send the complete package.
I bought 7 items from them (Safari Snorkel, QT diff guards, steering guard, wading kit, etc.), so what I paid for postage is irrelevant for someone just looking at purchasing a snorkel. All up my package cost me $1,060.00 which is about $700.00 saving over local buying all the same brand items.
You can e-mail them and they are pretty responsive at replying with quotes.

It didn't take long to arrive. Maybe 4 working days. I've had a few packages now come in very quickly from the UK.

I fitted my Safari Snorkel to my rig, they're a good fit, but for the price I would expect a 100% fit:

I got the stainless steel grill to suit it too:

178GBP is about $272 as of 10/06/11 which is a lot better than any retailer here in Australia can do for a Safari. This markup is a disgrace if you ask me. I've sent an email to them and we'll see what it comes to.

Yeah, First Four where great to deal with.

Safari are rip offs. Australian made product for half the price in the UK. I'd buy from the UK even if it was the same price.
