Yeh the beer did take some effort. It was worth waiting for though.

    Xrox Install

    Quick rundown off the install.

All parts are nicely wrapped in bubble wrap.

Instructions are a bit vague and I need to chase up the ADR complient sticker as it was not in the box.

    All bolts counted.

    All the parts.

    The welds are good.

    Started to fit the winch.

Had to grind the fair lead roller bolts to fit the winch flush with the bar I didn't want to pack it out.

Last photo of the D2 in standard trim. She looks a bit rough.

I followed the instructions on rave for the bar uninstall. then fitted the crush cans.

You need to cut off a captive nut to mount the washer bottle protector..

Mount the washer bottle protection I don't think I'll bother relocating it.

Mounted the middle section a block of wood helped. Once I leveled it all up I torqued all the bolts to 55 ft. lb no instruction was given.

I pre-painted the front allen bolts with some paint I had you need to paint the washers as well.

    Front wings mounted

Cut the inner guard trim to shape and mount. The supplied bolts are just long enough.

Lights mounted, a fiddly job with the winch mounted.

Tools packed up and I can admire my work.

Just need to source some recovery hooks now.

Thanks, no lift at all I'm running stock springs with extended shocks. All up the bar with winch and cable weighs in at a massive 67.5 kg this is including bolts.

Still need to make a decision on springs

    Hi all,
I was going to post up some finished shots of my XROX bar but realised they are on my other computer but I have one shot taken today on the Western Explorer on the way to Corinna from Smithton in Tassie, I am down here holidaying with my kids. I never received my compliance sticker either ( I am yet to ring), but I will warn others that when I installed my bar and reused the orginal mounting bolts they ended up shearing off, one bolt went off with a bang as I tightened it (i wasn't using a torque wrench, just tightening to what I thought was tight), you could actually feel the bolts stretching as they were tightened. I replaced immediately with some 12mm high tensile bolts and had no dramas except I had to sligthly drill the holes on the crush cans.
    Cheers Matt

Sorry forgot to add that I am using Philco's recovery points with my XROX bar, I had these waiting to be fitted, I don't think I will add any recovery eyes to the bar now. I will get some close up shots and post them.
    Cheers Matt

    Hi,

    Fitted mine tonight.
I'll put photos up tomorrow. On phone and have to transfer.
    No sticker for me!

    Chilly
