Thread: ARB Locker Switch location

I cant find the pics, but I have mine on a clip out panel on the roof console that would normall hold the sunroof controls. Fits the 3 switches nicely.

Depends on what model you have. I fitted a rear locker to my base model manual D2a and so located the switches on the centre console above the window switches. There are (apparently) fittings and cables behind the panel which make the set up easy. I think if you have a more up market model you have other switches there. I also wouldn't put there if you intend adding a front locker later as you'll need another switch location and while 2 fit nicely, 3 might be a squeeze. Let me know if you want photos.

Get some factory cruise control switches then wire them into the dash binnacle.

Thanks for the comments guys. I found out that they have been fitted already in the centre console below the window switches. Oh well too late now. I am assured they were a good fit and looked good. Nice and handy etc.
I must admit I did like Slunnies idea of mounting them in the sunroof switch console. Oh well if I have the time, inclination etc to move them I might.......not.
