In Love With my Low Coolant Alarm

I fitted it in about an hour and a half and can I just say what a pleasure it is to have a round.

Recently did a 3000k trip - Brisbane, Rockhampton, Longreach, 500k Off road around Augathella and home to Brisbane and to know that I would be warned if i dropped any coolant is just, well it's hard to describe.

Here's A tip. Make sure you screw the coolant reservoir cap back on after you finish. All OK. I spotted it at the ATM a few K's down the road from the puddle under RH front tyre.

    Yeah, know the feeling...

If I'd had mine fitted before my "Tombies big road trip" then after the Roo strike I wouldnt have had a $8000.00 repair bill / recovery

I went the Madman EMS and I can tell you...

1 - The coolant alarm works well (deliberately lowered coolant with engine off)
2 - The volt monitor works - spotted failing alternator immediately
3 - The EGT monitor is brilliant
4 - Trans Oil temp monitor shows just how well my new cooler is working when towing
5 - Boost gauge is handy for tweaking tune

And all functions have a "tell tale" which shows peak so you can review after...

    OK.

Mine has a little red light that flashes and a beeper that goes Beep when there is not enough coolant.

    Still good but hey!

Yep, whether it's the Madman, the Enginesaver, or similar, it's money well spent.
