lockers take experience to learn to use. The biggest mistake people make is to much loud pedal. Yes stronger axles will help a heap but then you run the risk of destroying the diff, etc etc. I shattered a front CV once it literally looked like a hand grenade had gone off inside the housing - it let go at about 6000 rpm and I got traction. totally my fault probably lucky I didnt blow up the motor as well.
But that was the only time I have had any damage with using lockers after having them for about ten years and I have used them plenty. When using lockers and standard everything else finese is the key.
