Being that I'm a 7 seater, the hole to the rhs carries the hillbilly camp oven bag, shower tent & shower perfectly ... the lhs is pretty shallow as I have rear A/C, but fits fold up flat stools, jimmys thunderbox, and the biji-barbie .... so the only space I have available is overhead above the fridge & kitchen.

I'm travelling these days like the last photo ... rhs drawer in, and the carback kitchen sits ontop next to the fridge where the box of corona is

... unfortunatley, the carback kitch is about 50mm too long, so you can only close the back door when the kitchen is ontop if the back seat is allowed to tilt slightly forward ... but then I usually fold or remove the rhs back seat anyway, so the kitchen fits perfectly ... just need to devise a barrier ... another project.

    Tell me more ...
sorry, havnt been on for a while. I have the frame, which you can see on the fourby fitouts website, and then the drifta drawers fit under that. I dont have it in at the moment, but next time I do, I will take some pictures.

Fluids, the dropdown table provides an excellent food prep area and a SupaWing provides overhead shelter.

    D2a rear drawers

My 3rd attempt at rear drawers, used qubelock alum for frame then timber for additional side supports and top, covered in marine carpet. have a sliding left hand drawer top to accommodate a future fridge (and completely removable) BUT more importantly gives me access to the fuel pump in tank. drawer comes out and i can replace fuel tank pump without having to remove the entire system.

On left had side have mounted my aux battery and arb compressor. enjoy pics. will prob add to it as i think of stuff but happy so far. had to make one drawer larger then other side to give me access to fuel pump. small amount of carpet is already cut so just remove and you have access. thought to add something LR related (logo) and camel trophy plate. BTW against the cargo barrier is a water tank not connected as yet still tossing between two tanks one is 18L the other 50L but does take up too much space in the rear and limits carrying ability.

Also note I have completely removed the side bins and extended the drawers to cover the sides as well which allows more storage area. left side has aux battery and arb compressor and right side has room for more storage for now. cheers

Just reviving this one as I've been poking around for ideas and thought I'd share this page with you Fourby Fitouts.

These guys are in Hallam, Vic and the 'Touring Unit' is what they fit into the Discos (less the water jerry can due to the depth available). They are at the top end of the market but a great system that should inspire some ideas.

New to the forum and owning a disco.
Recently purchased a disco 2 and have been looking at putting drawers in the back. Has anyone come across any plans i could look at?
