I got mine done at prestige trimming in ringwood vic, they said that the fabric is wider than normal. they only had beige and grey in that size. I pulled the fibre glass shell out, scrubbed the residue of foam from it and delivered it clean. They charged me about $200 from memory.The is a lot of labour to pay some one to pull off all the trimming and then clean the shell. If you take it in bare, it should cost much at all.
I used an angle grinder with a steel brush to clean mine to bare
Some in Sydney must be able to refer you to a trimmer.

I spent a morning stripping mine out and cleaning it up. Ended up using a bit of scotch brite, to get the foam backing off. Took my time and did it gently, as the fibreglass roy shell is a bit thin.
Put it back in place with the grab handles holding it up for delivery to trimmer.
Total cost was $150.00, but was told if they were to do whole lot it would be significantly more.
The guys I used here in Perth told me they do a few of them, so they have a big role of the material in stock.

I found a site that provided some basic instructions then had a go at it - it took about an hour or so to get it out.

The trickiest bit is around the uprights between the front and rear doors but if you pull the plastic push on stuff that covers the gap between the metal and plastic bits of the upright you can see how it hooks on and its pretty easy. I could take a few pics if interested.

The most fragile bits are the little webbing holders above the passengers seats - be very, very gentle with them - I busted mine - new ones ridiculously expensive, could not get 2nd hand (because they bust easily!) - so ended up making a hidden wire frame to support the plastic and glued up with 5 minute araldite.

I didn't clean the liner just took to local upolsterer who charged $220 to recover with a thick grey felt they use in tractor cabs that reduced noise as a bonus! Looks great. He said would have been at least another $250 if he had to remove liner as well.

Took about 2 hours to put back in - it is not hard but you just have to be patient and gentle.

There is a wholesaler in Sydney that sell a good range of headlining in the "correct" 1/8" x 64" size required. They will sell direct in small quantities BUT what they charge for this is significantly above what it will cost you to buy from a trimmer. The company may be able to tell you if a trimmer in your area has ordered a particular colour from them.

A couple of sites I've found recently suggest that the 2144 Shale or 2126 Nat. Beige are a good match for the original. I have swatches of 2075 Lt. Graphite and 2005 Med. Grey (the 2005 is currently serving as a coaster) but these are quite different to the original.

It's not a RWC item, I just had Clio (98 Disco LS) go through the latest version of RWC test with the headlining sagging in where the sunroof cut outs are and it passed fine.

Your RW tester made up his own mind on that one, as they some times do.

So the shell is F/glass ? , mine is sagging and i was going to take it out and paint it with resin to make it rigid before re covering as i thought it was like the RRC ones and made of fibrous material. Wonder how it would look cleaned and painted , pretty sure you can get a suede look paint ?
