original bolt has the flange head and is self locking.
loctite helps but often the head snaps off.

i use those bolts with spring washer and flat washer that you get on most japanese trim.miti magna area good source of special bolts.

I found the clutch plate without any visible damage in the engine bay, but the bolt that should go through the clutch plate and into the spine rod was lost along with any other shims, springs washers (if it was fitted was such).
The clutch plate itself has an 8mm inner tread. (I think this must be used when dismantling / removing the clutch plate as the 8 mm doesn’ fit into the rod. The diameter seems smaller – I haven’t found a matching bolt yet.
Now I’m in search of information regarding specification for a new bolt and any washers’ / shims etc. and information regarding assembly, ie should I use lock-tight, how hard should it be tightened (NM) tips and tricks.

My D2a did the same thing a few months ago but luckily the bolt and shim were in the engine bay. Spoke to the dealer he said loctite and make it nice and firm.

I went to the local tool- and machine shop and found a bolt: 6 mm length 22 mm (12.9 grade) and a lock washer with grooves in.
I found shims still inside the clutch plane mounting part – so I took my changes and tightened the clutch plate to check clearance in practice. Turning off the A/C (Econ) and clutch plate wasn’t engaged. Turned on it was engaged and rotating – concluded that it was fine.
Then I removed the bolt and applied the blue colored Locktite 243 to it and tightened it well again.
A/C works just perfect now )

My clutch fell off the front of my compressor as well. The whole lot gone. Of course you can't buy the parts lucky found a second hand one as just needed the clutch. And I have a spare compressor
