I got a quote from an auto trimmer last week in Sydney and it was around $850 if they did the whole job, less if I took it out and took it to them. He even explained how to take it out and what to be careful of.

Both Scouse and I paid $110 each (including sunroof) for our P38As here in Sydney. We both removed/refitted our own roof linings. It's pretty easy to remove them.

We didn't have to remove the old cloth either.

This has been covered a number of times, but it's an easy job and should not cost more than $500.00 is someone does everything or abot $300.00 if you give them the shell to re-trim...you remove and fit yourself.
Remove and re-fit...about 1 hour each for one person knowing very little.

Watching this thread with interest, although somewhere in Gippsland would suit me better.

I'm looking at a D2 and wonder if anybody has experience in having a roof re-lined / re-trimmed at all in Melbourne and if so how much and who did it please??

I had a roof re lined about 3 years ago (just a falcon sedan) and it cost a little under $200 if I remember correctly..
