They look great.
How did you "roll" them so they follow the curved line along the bottom of the doors? (or are they simply straight with a bigger gap at the front compared to the back...)
They look great. I like the satin.

A hi lift should be fine as you've clamped around the sill. Mine are similar but the box section just sits wholly under the sill with a similar tube arrangement and will lift without deformation. Just be aware a big hit (2'+) on the outer edge will twist the sill but the outer tube will allow you to stick a big bar in and pull it back.
Hi
Just checked out your photos on your sliders they look pretty awesome, well impressed, do you still have any drawings or measurements as I would like to make some for my 2002 Td5 I would appreciate your help.
Good stuff champ
Hi Toppa, I recently bought a D2 2003 model, and I am going to have to go the route of building my own sliders. If you don't mind me asking, what diameter and thickness tubing did you use for your sliders?
They look awesome matey, just a thought to hit ebay for some grip tape because your shins wont love you when your out in the mud and you step up and slide across them and slam into the under edge of your door.
just a thought![]()
Im looking to make something similar to these out of tubular pipe. Ive only been able to find weld on 90 degree bends with a wall thickness of around 4mm no smaller...is that what you've used? my problem is that I think if i make them out of 4mm pipe all round they're gunna be much heavy!
