Thread: source of oil leak

hi all, trying to find the source of the oil leak at bottom of Disco 2 Td5 auto. cant seem to find where its coming from. taken two pics to help locate the source, any suggestions much appreciated. cheers

What colour is the oil? If indeterminate, clean off the residue, and watch for the appearance of the leak. The colour of the oil will give you a hint to the source. It's probably leaking from the rear of the rocker cover and cover gasket.
