    D2 V8 stalling,,

The silver lemon stalled at the lights this arvo,, ran home fine afterwoods.
not done that before,, but has been hunting a bit at idle just lately.

    What makes a D2 stall?
(The LPG gauge was in the red, but its supposed to swap over itself when empty)

If the idle mixture on gas is incorrect the vehicle ECU may fumble the catch from over-run to idle as you slow down. The ECU says to open the IAC valve at just the right moment, which usually works, then fine adjusts the idle speed. Have the gas mixtures checked.

The Silver Lemon went into British Off Road this morning,, and came out with a COMPLETLY clean bill of health,, all sensors working as required, no faults, NONE.

Since its been on the coast its started perfectly,, EVERY time.
Apart from some deep wading yesterday the only difference is I can think of is the height above sea-level,,,

Since it uses MAF and not MAP, unless changed with the LPG but unlikely as you'd need a system to swap the pressure signal over to match the original voltage signal, air pressure differences due to changes in height AMSL wouldn't come into play. Even then MAP systems are more often than not self compensated once setup correctly.

Possibly the start of a faulty crank angle sensor. Any issues on hot starting yet?
