Thread: Fuel usable after light comes on?

my 2c.

I have often (last 4.5 yrs with this D2) filled when the little orange light comes on. I know a mine, with a std D2 tank, will have 15L left, ie 30Km

The most I ever added was 90L.

Yep, I ran out (once!) 30km after the light came on. It took me 5 hours to get it going again.
I still don't know why, but I suspect you need to put quite a lot of petrol in the tank before it will start.
