Kind of sad that we can't get them made up locally for that sort of price (especially when you consider that about 65% of the cost is just freight!!!)!

Those flares look great. I do regret going the 4" lift route now. I reckon a set of those flares would have solved my clearance issues without the need to lift the truck up more.

There's only one answer for that, greed.

As soon as one starts a business, they want to be rich yesterday and they take the attitude that only they sell an item.

This is my opinion from the experience of dealing with said business'.

Washer bottle was bought from Devon 4x4 in the UK, they designed it to work with their slimline bumpers.

I wouldn't be so quick to say greed is the factor, when comparing to say the USA or UK general overheads like rent, insurance and wages are a lot higher here.

For example the minimum wage in the UK is something like $10 AUD, the USA is $7 AUD per hour, whereas in Australia it is $16 per hour.

Straight away that is a 60% - 120% increase over those countries just in minimum wages.

At the end of the day, if the general population receive a pay increase each year that money has to come from somewhere and it has a flow on effect to every item we purchase or lease or rent etc.

If we want to pay less for items then everything has decrease including our wages, comparatively what we pay is probably proportional to what we earn in Australia.

    Cool

Thanks Chris, you have made up my mind. I was tossing up between the flat dog and LRA flares. I have LRA flares on the Rangie and they do look good, but are brittle and I am often doing repairs on them. But after seeing how good they look on the Disco I will get them.

Chris, was that an XROX bar I could see. If so, could we see some pics of it.

I had planned to get. Shadow bar from First Four Offroad, but have found out you have to remove the crush cans to fit it and I am not sure how much this will affect the airbags.

    Thanks, looks great.
Do you think it has better approach angle than the ARB bar. It still seem to hang down a fair way.

I wish I could get a body lift but it will never happen in Vic. Maybe I better move to QLD.
