    Remove sticky front hub.

    Hi Crew.

I am fitting a new front Axle seal and have removed the caliper and disk and the 4 bolts holding the front hub on, the Rave disk tels me there is only the 4 bolts holding the hub in but i can not get it free. I have been able to rotate it anout 5 mm by wacking the crap out of it to the point that I am concerned that the bolt whole are no longer round.

any tips on removing the front hub?

    CHeers

You will need to use a puller to get it off the driveshaft, I used a 3 arm puller and it was still not that easy to remove
If you are just pulling it from the hub carrier it should eventually cone free with a bit of persuasion

Thanks for the quick reply. I am hoping the leave the hub on the axle as I did on the rear hub when I did the o ring. Looking at rave the axle should just come fee with the hub shouldn't it?

Yes they just pull out with the driveshaft, maybe try some penetrating oil an work it a bit?
    Good luck with it
