    Angry No Start

Went to start car this afternoon, doors unlocked OK. Key in ignition, no start, Checked fuses, all seem OK. No lights, interior or headlights. Battery showing fully charged.
Any ideas as to possible fault & how to remedy?

I had problems like this for the last couple of months. The battery although charged had loose connections and also a pretty weak battery (500cca). I ended up getting a new battery, (1000cca) fitted, and tightened the terminals. No issues since.

The remedy for the last few months was to jiggle the cables & connections. The dials and all lights etc would click back on, then it'd start fine.

I must admit it did stay in a carpark the first time it happened.

    My thoughts...
The inside light may have timed out.
The headlamps should still work if the battery is good.
    Sounds like a flat/crook battery
Where are you checking that the battery is fully charged?
If it's a little green light in one cell of the battery it could be one of the other 5 has given up.
Probibly needs a volt meter put over it to test.
Also as sugested check the terminals and the other end of the main leads.

Yell if you get stuck and need a hand.

    Cheers, Kyle.

Recharged battery, reconnect & started. Thanks for assistance. Cannot understand how battery would have discharged enough to inhibit starting. New battery, 4 months old max, and have used vehicle on a couple of 100 k runs in past few days

I have a volt meter and Nanocom along with a test light in my D2 full time.
Have a look at your brake light fuses, some LR use this curcuit for the charge system also.

Slip me a PM if you want a hand, should be about tomorow arvo after work.
Sunday off to a ex military day.
    Cheers, Kyle
