Officially according to the 2004 brochure a Td5 should max out at 157kph. V8 is 170.
Stockie on the Hay Plains, topped out at 160 indicated... Drank fuel like mad though

Mine just loves to cruise at 120, seems to really settle down at that speed, but I've seen 150 a few times and thats not wound out. It has free flow fat exhaust and unconfirmed ecu mod.
184 kph as per GPS... Cruises comfortably at 160 kph... (uprated I/C, VNT, uprated TC, dual-channel boost-MAF signal capping device, etc. coupled with own experimental remapping).
Hilariously it was the wife that came in one day and said "do you know the disco can easily reach past 180 kph after that last computer thing you did to it?"

Once out of the open road mine will happily cruise at 140, still quiet inside, its a really nice big car to drive at that speed, doesnt feel dangerous. Only a mild chip/tune and A/T tyres, pretty much everything else standard. My previuos cars Navara and Falcon were not as pleasant at the same speed.
