    Fuel economy readout?

Does the nanocom give fuel usage information? I'm after the info that a car computer in most modern cars gives out, instant and average fuel use. What about scan gauge?.
Any other devices anyone knows about that can be connected to a td5d2 to get this info?

Will this device operate on the LR obd2 protocols?

    Cheers

I don't think it will work on the Td5.

The Td5 wasn't sold into the US market so didn't need to support OBD and the EU OBD-II regs didn't mandate support for diesels until 2004.

I owned a KiwiWifi interface for a short time but the Td5 only supplies minimal data via OBD-11. RPM, Road Speed, Temp, throttle position, calculated load, and battery voltage at the obd-2 port from memory. Reading the KiwiMPG manual it looks like it needs access to either MAF or MAP data via obd-2 to calculate MPG. The Td5 doesn't supply this.

Just because something is posted in a comment on the back box solutions site doesn't mean it exists in practice, and it definitely doesn't mean it is available via OBD2.
