Yep I was tempted but want tye truck to still pass emissions testing if I ever get pulled over.

I was looking at the Magnaflow universal weld in ones for SWMBO's ML320, and they were going to work out at $95 each delivered. The ones for the D2 look like much the same price.

They are supposed to be quite free flowing.

don't forget about the fact that rh side requires a thinner cat to clear the tailshaft.

Definitely replace with high flowing units. In the last few years they've gotten a lot cheaper.

Generally cat converters only last around 100,000km.

In all my years of driving cars and trucks (2 and a bit decades), I have never, ever, ever, had an emissions test. To be honest, I don't know of a single person who has.

Do the constabulatory perform these tests, or other powers that be??

DOT did up here but haven't seen them for several v years

Got a guy who will put on hf cats.
