    Replacing door seals

The door seals are looking very old and tired so I thought a replacement might be good before I tackle the cape rivers.

I remember on my last D2a the door seals were much better than the earlier D2 seals. Does anyone know if there is a different part number for the later seals?

Also has anyone replaced seals and can recommend where to get them from?

    Thanks,

    Adam

    door seals

I'm not really sure but I think I saw door seals at Roverlord the other day.
    Try Heather & Mario.
If it wasn't them it was on Ebay under LR Discovery 2 spares.
    Hope this helps, Regards Nick.

You can also thread some flyscreen tube into the seals for a bit of extra water proofing.
The Phantom - Oslo Blue 2001 Td5 SE.
Half dead but will live again!

    Nina - Chawton White 2003 Td5 S
    Slowly being improved

Yes, this has been done on mine, but they are too worn now. The D2a seals did not need the fly screen tube which is why I would like to get those seals.

I was looking at this the other day as I'm getting a lot of wind noise from the front doors and dust/water in the back door.

The earlier seals have been obsoleted, and replaced by the 2004MY seals.

I recieved a visitors PM yesterday from someone who had some seals. I did reply but never heard back from you and I can't find the PM in my files anywhere.

Could you please contact me again, I am interested in the seals.
