Finally got time to start install of 2nd batt carrier from ARB, decided to have inline circuit breakers on each power cable to isolator, main batt iso is attached to plastic box this side of jack holder, other breaker will be on flat piece of batt carrier, positioned isolator on Lshaped bracket using the 2 screws that hold engine fuse box, all cable is or will be covered in black split cable protector, bolts that are needed from fire wall are directly along side of aircon lines, left hand one is directly above screw for holding fuel cutoff switch, all in all a pretty easy install, will add photo when engine side of carrier is in position it is a upright piece of plate that hold batt in place, will cover in sticky sided aluminium heat reflectant 2inch tape so i hope it will be enuf to keep heat off end of batt
It's a pity space is so scare around the brake booster and back of the fuse box.
I've installed the factory driving light harness and the relay unit mounts in the same spot you've put the isolator, and it takes up enough room that I've had to alter the orientation of the isolator on the inner guard.
I'm still trying to work out how to redo the wiring so I can hook up a winch, winch solenoid and traxide isolator with the absolute minimum of cable run to the ARB tray. It's a bit of a challenge working out where to squeeze it all in
