I recently ordered some brand new ones from Brit-Car in the UK for a friends D2. I have generally found their prices to be very competitive, their shipping to be very fast and reasonably priced.
Hi
Has anyone got a good supplier for replacement horn buttons, as my right side is done. Was hoping to get 1 that will actually stay in the steering wheel
Cheers
Brunson

Land Rover doesn't sell just the button caps that fall off, you have to buy the entire assembly with both buttons and the harness too. There are some people that have started making aftermarket caps, but they don't look exactly like the originals, so you have to replace both.

Those are the buttons I bought...fit perfectly, and when you push them, once fitted, the Landy goes "toot".
These are what I put in. and after a bit dont even notice they r not factory!![]()

Cut up a piece of rubber thong that will slide through the middle of the spring, superglue each end, presto, fixed!
Mine have stayed in place for 3 years now.
HAHAHA!I didnt buy em, they came in the glove box
The previous owner just hadnt got them in and there was 1 button less side on the wheel so I clipped them in. So far they aint broke, but for the life of me I cant see the "New and Improved " bit
As I said after a bit you dont notice them and I dont use the horn much, finger and bullbar work better!
or is that politically incorrect?
Cheers Scott
