Issue but not sure what it is...

    Hi All,
Have had my Disco2 V8 2001 for about 4 months, added about 3,000kms onto the clock. Had been running perfect, not 1 issue, hadn't used a drop of oil or leaked.

Anyway, I noticed this week when i was driving it that once i hit 4th gear, and maintained a constant speed either 60,70, 80 or 100 that i got this pulsation through the front of the car, the engine doesnt drop revs and once i either apply pressure t othe accelerator or ease off the accelerator it stops.

Its a bit concerning, I wasnt sure if it could be the torque converter? Any help would be great. as I said its when i try and maintain a constant speed.

certainly sounds like tc slip. try this Dr. Tranny Instant Shudder Fixx if it fixes it you will know for sure, if not it won't do any harm anyway.

Check the fluid level while your at it.

Without trying to sound negative, if it ain't leaking it could be out of oil!
