His D2 has been engineered and approved with a 100mm increase in track which means his rims must be close to a zero offset. That's why the flares are not wide enough. Lucky he is in NSW and not under VSB14 rules! and lucky he found the right engineer to approve his mods with the tyres sticking out the guards.....beats me.....I couldn't win a chook in a chook raffle with the only ticket

I have 16" x 8" D2 +6mm SILVER round style rims which create my 100 mm wheel track change.
I believe standard offset is +57?
Copper STT 285/75/16
Considering that a +32 offset works with 33s and 35s, is the extra track worth the hassle of trying to now get flares to cover the tyres? I mean will that 25mm each side make such a significant difference that it's worth it?
Even Les Richmonds new "Storm" series mods to his D2s run +32 offset (approx), they are engineered and pass all tests.
Just my thoughts Steve, good luck though.
Cheers

Thing is I have no wheels with +32 offset I only have standard LR alloys and the Dynamic 16 x 8 which look much better and car is better to drive (lane change test was done with LR alloys though)
I know those LR flares are not cheap and I would guess that the jeep ones would be rather pricey as well.
A steel rim at +30 is available, and there are several manufacturers of alloys to suit, yes wheels are not cheap either, but you are up for some large dollars whichever way you go, ...
Me, I'd go for rims because they bolt on and they are easy, new flares, or custom ones require adjustment, mods and fitting.....stuff ups can be costly.
Again Steve, just food for thought for you, your car, your choice, and well done whichever way you go mate.
Cheers

Just a thought Steve, you must be close too, or within a reasonable distance of another member here who has rims like that that you can try out for fitment?
A weekend away to someone's house who might be kind enough to help out with a bit of testing maybe?

Fair point guys but I get flairs for free and making them suit with Greg will set me back couple of hours of work. Alternatively I allready bought some 6mm rubber and will make some flair extensions.
Last resort new wheels but really like the wide stance of the Disco ;-) also running out of space in garage with 3 x spare sets of wheels.
LRA will also create new wider flairs but they are 6-8 month away.
