    Multirib belt TD5 +air-ACE

I did a lot of reserch today trying to find cross references for the D2 TD5 2002 +air-ACE poly belt so that I could buy one at Supercheap or elsewhere.
The belt number is 7PK1800 ( OEM PQS10500) , but it appears NO other car uses that belt size or even up to 1825MM. Defender with Australian market air uses this so no help at Supercheap.
So I looked at where I could get a belt as spare cheap as everywhere on ebay wanted around $50 and so did the Australian Land Rover parts places.

$50 for a Polybelt????? They must be made of gold.
Eg this at $27 Genuine Ford Falcon AU Drive Belt 6CYL 4 0L FAN Serpentine AJK6995 | eBay

So I searched some of the UK sites and found British parts had them for GBP5 or so. They have to come back with shipping cost but I would be surprised if it was more than say $15. I have specified no DHL as I don't want any secret surprises.

Maybe sell the TD5 and buy a Ford , then no complaints on parts, also tyres are cheaper for Fords

So you have no problem paying double for the same thing?

I have some loaves of bread you should like for $10 each.

I object to paying double for generic items like belts and spark plugs.

I know we pay double for short run items like water pumps, but belts?

I just thought I would look up a 6PK1800 as it would do as a spare as it has 6 ribs instead of 7 but the same circumference so will fit a TD5.
6PK1800 CAR A C Poly V Serpentine Belt FOR Jeep Cherokee Comanche Wrangler | eBay
So for anyones info , you can get a Wrangler belt that will do, for $16.84 with free postage from Hong Kong.
$50 looks even more a rip off to me.
However the point of the post was to look to see whether there were any commonly available belts that you can buy at Supercheap or Repco if you were stuck somewhere without a spare, and it is clear that you can buy a Jeep belt to fit.
