Good advice kelvo. Yeh I fit a bash plate with existing bolts too and all was fine.

Yeh nice simple fix with the bill bar indicators. Arb initially didn't put lower wattage bulbs in so when I checked it out I questioned them and they had to call head office to figure it out.

Never crossed my mind for LED lights for the indicators, the lower wattage are a bit duller than I'd like so LEDs are a good idea.

Don't forget yours is a D2a bar and such it wont have the factory eyelets.
Not that I'd use them anyway, but that horse has died and been flogged long ago

I got & fitted my bar a couple weeks ago, and using the supplied bolts (M10 x 130mm driver side & 7/16" x 4 1/2" passenger side) refitting the wombat & tow eye there is about 20mm extra on the passenger side & 10mm on the drivers side, see photos. So unless you keep the wombat bar AND fit recovery points thicker than 10mm you should be ok.

One thing I will recommend getting is a 180mm long 10mm dia drill bit, I only had a 'standard' lenght (130mm) bit and it was only just long enough, only had about 5-10mm in the chuck for it to go through

Oh don't forget to get some 10watt or LED globes for the indicators, it will stop the trailer light on the dash flashing, without a trailer attached
Kelvo, My points are about 10mm thick, as made by philco on the forum.
Wombat bar left off, I put them on for glenreagh last year. Only held on by about half the nut
Decided longer bolts were a good idea
Longer drill bit is a good piece of advice, it's why I had mine done by OL, for free
Anyone interested in LED globes, try these....

They fit in the same spot and they give you the parkers as well.

I was lucky. When I went to ARB the salesman went on the computer and the news was not good. He then made a phone call and located one. If I wanted black I could have got it next week.

It all comes down luck, I went into my local store to order mine & walked out with it there & then (I wanted it in black) with a $200 discount

Turns out it had be delivered to them by mistake, it should have been a Vitara one, and they were in the process of getting it sent back to the main warehouse.

Well here it is. Just finished it. I now understand the comments about the longer drill bit.

I got by just, by cutting a bolt to fit in my drill chuck to keep the drill bit at the end of the chuck and stop it pushing back into the chuck.

Looks great colour coded good to see you made the sensible choice of style I have the same style and might not be the best approach angle for extreme stuff but it's certainly the best all round bar on the market
