Thread: Purchasing a Series II Discovery

Hello, I am currently considering purchasing another Discovery (previously had a '94 V8 and a '99 V8), but this time I will be looking for a Diesel manual somewhere around the 2002 to 2004 models. I am posting this thread to find out some answers about some of the problems a vehicle of this age might have, how many km's is to many, what sort of engine/trans problems might be etc. Some of the vehicles in my price range have anywhere between 180,000 to 300,000 km on the clock, which I don't see as being a problem as long as maintence has been done. As mentioned before, I have had a couple of Discovery's in the past, so I have a little knowledge of them. Any feedback would be great... thanks.
