    D2 brake fail ends trip!

Half way through our school holiday road trip my brake servo seal started leaking!

NRMA towed it back from glend Davis , NSW to my mechanic in Sydney. They gave us a hire car which is a sedan so the trip saved but no off road.

Family not happy with the d2 ! They want me to get a newer car or take my wife's XTrail on future trips :-(

    Spewing.

Old parts on cars will sometimes fail - it's to be expected. Even new cars sometimes breakdown. It happens. At least the brakes didn't fail on you when you needed them resulting in something much worse.

Very true, that's why I think we're lucky!

On a positive note now that I have had a new seal kit put on the brake servo and new fluid resovior should be good as new as this aside my car is to top with only 89k on the clock. I explained most cars will have a half life point and now we sold be good to go for many years!
