Question Rear Bumper Tread Plate - how is it secured?

The Rear Bumper Tread Plate is a bit loose and flappy on my vehicle. What holds it in place?

I had a look in MicroCat in Discovery Series II 1998-2004 / C BODY & CHASSIS / C01 BODY & CHASSIS, BODY / C01.130 REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY ( Landrover Parts Catalog ) which shows it, but it doesn't list any screws or plugs to secure it in place?

You must remove the bumper to gain access...
This cover is retained on the disco bodywork with clips (number 6 on the diagram) so don't expect to get a very firm support..

It is held on with plug type retainers. On mine, they would not retain the strip properly. So I simply applied some Silicone sealant and it is good now. That or new plugs.
